Members should be willing to come to our facility for the next 6 weeks to take and finish the challenge. You really need to want this. We got your back.

Members should enjoy working in a team environment where positive energy is given and positive energy is received.

Members should be committed to making this change for the good of all but most importantly for yourself. You can do this. We are rooting for you.

Members should leave all their ego and drama at home. Let us focus on being better versions of ourselves through our program.

Members should be disciplined to also have a nutrition plan that will perfectly go along with our workout.

Members must respect the rules of the gym. We are here to give you the best possible workout experience that will help transform your life for the better.

MY SPOT BEGINNERS

In this class, you will be learning all the fundamental movements in a fun and supportive environment. This is an introductory course for all our new members that will help them solidify their foundations in these kinds of movements.

SPOT Fundamentals is for our members to understand the theory and the basics behind the workout. We crafted a learning experience for our beginners to slowly and gradually transition themselves to more advanced and high-skilled activities in the future.

Our goal is to build their confidence and skill as they slowly climb up the ladder while ensuring their safety and security during these workout sessions.

THE SPOT Barbell Club

The SPOT BARBELL CLUB is a USA Weightlifting sanctioned club that prioritizes efficiency and development of the competition lifts: snatch, clean & jerk. Programming is created around the local or national competition calendar and athletes are encouraged to participate in mock or actual sanctioned meets in order to learn more about the sport and build their confidence on the platform.

  • Our team meets 3x/week on Monday, Wednesday & Friday at either 8:30 or 10am.
  • Athletes should expect to commit to training at least twice a week
  • An assessment must be scheduled with Head Coach Julia before beginning.
  • Our club welcomes both novice and intermediate lifters looking for a supportive community of athletes in NYC.

Julia is a USAW Level 2 Coach, Local Referee and National Level competitor. After nearly a decade as a gymnastics coach, Julia was introduced to strength sports & Crossfit in 2013 and quickly ran with it.

Julia holds the following certifications:
